Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAVERIO SINOPOLI February 3, 1920 - July 10, 2007 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Saverio Sinopoli, our beloved husband, father, brother and Nonno. Saverio passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 10, 2007 in Torino, Italy, after a year long battle with cancer. He was 87. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Maria Teresa, and son Ralph (Antonia) Sinopoli; grandchildren, Anna Maria (Jason) MacTavish, Patrizia (David) Ferman, and Saverio G. Sinopoli, and great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Rebecca MacTavish. He was born in San Vitoionio, Italy where he met his wife Maria Teresa. My dad loved to work with his hands and could be found assisting with home renovations. Saverio was a very easygoing person and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to spend his summer at their villagio in Calabria and their winters in Torino. He will be in our memories and missed by all. A memorial service for Saverio Sinopoli will be held on August 21, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. at 7:30 p.m.
